Waypoint, Noble Steed, and Serenade have teamed up to announce Waypoint Constellations, a brand new showcase of local game developers in Sydney, Australia, set to take place ahead of SXSW Sydney 2024 in October.

“Collectively Waypoint, Noble Steed and Serenade have been pioneers in Australia for the showcase of compelling and exceptional game makers. Waypoint Constellations is an event curated passionately by all of them for the love of Sydney game dev,” the event’s description reads.

Waypoint Constellations will be an evening filled with talks, live music, and networking for the local Sydney-based game development scene, with a view to create new connections and opportunities for everyone. While Victorian-based game developers are frequently celebrated in this way, there has rarely been the same chances for Sydney developers to do the same.

Across Waypoint Constellations, local Sydney developers will speak about their personal game development paths, while also revealing more about upcoming projects. Alongside these talks, Noble Steed, Serenade, and Waypoint will also present a showcase of locally-produced games, designed to highlight the great development work taking place in Sydney.
